wpid-photo.JPGNo Throw Aways is something that I have thought a lot about in my life.  As a pastor, there are times when the ministry doesn’t run like planned.   Does that mean that it is wasted time?  No!   Everything that is done in ministry is important and should be viewed that way.   At the same time, I am more than just a pastor.  I am a father of 4 children (3 boys, 1 girl), a husband, a son and a follower of Jesus Christ.  All of these roles present opportunities, none of which are throw aways.    We need to be “all in” at all times and waste nothing because our time is limited.

This blog is mainly about the daily opportunities and lessons I learn from my children and life as a pastor.

    Hi Derek
Great to hear from you … How is the church rebuild going after the fires?
Often times I have been prompted to pray for your church and it’s family:-)
Thank you for stopping by …

The rebuild is slow. There are many layers of process to get through. God is good, though, so things will move forward. I know this is not a wasted event at all.

        No … Not wasted.
        Nehemiah comes to mind!
Build with one hand a sword in the other Derek.
        I will keep praying.
