To document the Blizzard, I took two pictures. The first one was out our front window during the storm. The second was out of the back window at a different house. We ended up leaving out house to go somewhere with a wood stove. All that to say, these pictures provide a nice contrast.
But of what a difference just 24 hours made!
“Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in.” – Isaiah 40:21-22
This is indeed a wonderful world, isn’t it, Derek?
The good Lord really outdid himself…
I am amazed at it, really. One day we have a blizzard and then next is beautiful sunshine.
And that’s exactly why I won’t drive in snow anymore. For what? To risk an accident that a day later wouldn’t have happened? Uh-uh. I’m from the Midwest and I know better than to go out in that. I don’t care how they do it in Virginia.
I am from the Midwest too, but snow doesn’t excite me too much anymore. I did drive in this one in order to get to a place with heat. .
